Guides on four aspects in the Regulation (EC) No 10/2011 on plastic food contact materials

The EURL FCM Task Force on the fourth amendment of Directive 2002/72/EC on plastic food contact materials identified that four aspects needed guidance for official control purposes. In the meantime, the Directive has been replaced by Regulation (EC) No 10/2011. The four aspects are also part of the new Regulation:
- the use of the fat reduction factor and other correction factors of the experimental specific migration.
- the concept of the functional barrier
- the retrictions of certain phthalates
- the restriction of primary aromatic amines as mentioned in section 2 of Annex II of the Regulation
