The first Biocides Technical Meeting 2012 will address scientific and technical issues related to the implementation of the Biocidal Products Directive (BPD) 98/8/EC.

Background:
The Biocides Technical Meeting (TM) is a subsidiary body established under the meeting of the Specific National Competent Authorities (
CAs) responsible, together with the European Commission, for the
implementation of the Biocidal Products Directive (BPD) 98/8/EC, and more particularly for discussing and developing recommendations on scientific and technical
issues.
