The JRC-IHCP (Institute for Health and Consumer Protection) will host the 2nd meeting of the HEALTH-VENT WorkProgramme 4 on "Health and Ventilation".

The HEALTH-VENT project was funded in June 2010 by EU’s Executive Agency for Health and Consumers (EAHC) within EU’s Health Programme 2008-2012. It aims at developing health-based ventilation guidelines for new and existing non-industrial buildings (i.e., offices, homes and public buildings schools, nursery, homes and day-care centres) in Europe.

As the Commission's in-house science service, the Joint Research Centre's mission is to provide EU policies with independent, evidence-based scientific and technical support throughout the whole policy cycle.
