The Institute for Health and Consumer Protection of the Joint Research Centre organises this workshop that asks how interventions from behavioural economics can influence an individual's decision to attend colorectal cancer (CRC) screening. A better understanding of the individual decision making process could allow screening campaigns to design more effective screening invitations.
The workshop will present the state of play regarding CRC screening policies in Europe. The insights from the workshop shall be used to exchange best practise and to propose new policy measures for increasing show up rates in CRC screening programmes.
