Scientists from different FP-7 projects dealing with the safety of nanomaterials met at the NanoImpactNet – QNano conference, entitled “From theory to practice - development, training and enabling nanosafety and health research”, held in Dublin on 27.02 - 02.03.2012.
Several researchers from the Joint Research Centre, Institute for Health and Consumer Protection (JRC-IHCP), Nanobiosciences Unit, contributed to the event:
-
Luigi Calzolai gave a presentation on
"Measuring Protein Structure and
Stability of Protein-Nanoparticle Systems" -
Neil Gibson and Federica Simonelli showed a
poster on the Transnational Access possibilities offered
under the QNano project for EU researchers to access the JRC Cyclotron for their
experiments on nanoparticle radiolabelling -
Juan Riego Sintes represented the JRC with regard to the NanoImpactNet project
-
Hubert Rauscher
presented the
JRC NANOhub to a meeting of the NanoSafety Cluster chaired by European
Commission's Directorate General for Research and Innovation.
